Parul Begum
Parul was born and raised in Brooklyn, the heart of New York City. Parul Begum is a highly motivated individual who is willing to take initiative and can adapt quickly. As a first generation Bengali graduate, Parul worked diligently to gain her Bachelors of Business Administration in Finance with a minor in Business law as well as an Associates in Accounting. Emerging from a minority community such as the Bengali society, she realized the importance of giving back to underrepresented communities and aspires to perform further business in non-profits. Her previous line of work included assisting incoming potential college students with residency, concerns, and questions and further experience in the service industry, banking field, and retail line of work. Parul has honed valuable skills such as organizational, analytical, excellent conceptual skills, and leadership capabilities. She specializes in bookkeeping, administration, assistance in tax preparations, accounting AP and minor interpretation in Bengali and Hindi. Parul is very passionate and self-driven and aspires to assist businesses, nonprofits, and other projects using her skills.
